Our review in collaboration with Ana Runemark (Lund University, Sweden) and Erica Larson (University of Denver) is out now in Molecular Ecology! We evaluated gene expression studies from 58 unique homoploid hybrids, identifying the pervasiveness of transgressive gene expression patterns and asking if these systems display hybrid novelty in traits or if disrupted gene expression seems to contribute to reproductive incompatibilities.
